The main function of the oil-water separator is to separate oil components (hydrocarbons) from the wastewater from the ship's bilge and discharge clean wastewater overboard in accordance with IMO Res. MEPC 107(49) regulations.
In the HYN OWS series, the CPR module is installed and suspended in the first stage to separate oil components (hydrocarbons) by gravity, and small particles of oil components (hydrocarbons) are removed by using a Coalescer filter in the second stage.
In the last 3 steps, a membrane filter is installed to absorb oil components (hydrocarbons) in the emulsion state.
The HYN OWS series is designed to ensure excellent performance even under the most stringent conditions. In addition, the need for replacement and maintenance of spare parts is minimized.
For special offshore projects with specific logistical requirements and various hazardous area requirements of renowned customers such as Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, HJ Heavy Industries and Total Offshore, Han Young has a wealth of engineering experience.
